Giovanni Valenti and his team farm 40 hectares of vineyards that range from 600 to 1,000 meters above sea level along the slopes of Mt Etna on the beautiful island of Sicily.
The house style embraces Etna tradition and that means the wines are a little more unruly and rustic than most. Valenti works with consulting enologist Emiliano Falsini.
Saturday, June 9th, at 6pm join us at WPW for a very special and unique wine and food experience. Everything Sicilian is the theme. Taste the amazing wines from Etna along with very traditional regional foods.

2013 Valenti Norma Etna Rosso -90% Nerello Mascalese, 10% Nerello Cappuccio. Aged 8 months in Slavonian oak.
Entrée: Roast Pork Ragu– parmesan arancini, roasted fennel, red wine pan gravy
2013 Valenti Puritani Etna Rosso – 100% Nerello Mascalese. Aged in Slavonian oak 18 months.
Dessert: Sicilian Almond Brittle
