This property is new to Bordeaux. Created in 1998, the owner, Christophe Reboul, named this cuvee for his daughter who unfortunately passed away in the same year. The first vintage I tasted was the 2000 and I have been buying this wine every year since. And for good reason. The price to quality ratio is off the charts. The 2012 continues the string of successes this Chateau has enjoyed since its inception. The nose is filled with lush Merlot fruit that bursts with blue and red fruits. The first sip seduces with its supple texture and soft fine tannins. Round, rich and voluptuous the mouth fills with black currant and cherry fruit mixed with vanilla, Herbs de Provence and a potpourri of spices. The finish is super silky, round and full bodied. The wine is perfect to drink now no further aging required. At this price a true Sleeper of the Vintage!
