Anniversary Sale

West Palm Wines is celebrating its 18th year in business this month! And what better way to do that than offer our customers, who made the last 18 years possible, a ridiculous deal on a yummy Burgundy. The only problem is I only have 5 CASES AVAILABLE. They are in stock and our price, $27btl by the case, is $20btl LESS than our competitors on winesearcher. But don’t wait! These 5 cases will disappear fast!

Savigny is a pretty village in a small valley north of Beaune. The vineyard of Les Serpentières has a very good due south exposure. Names were often given to vineyards, early in the Middle Ages, for the fauna or vegetation that could be observed: partridges, oak trees, snakes (“serpents” in French). This is how “Serpentières” received its name and has kept it ever since.. The soil is marl and limestone from the Bathonian age; light soil with a reddish coloration, strewn with sharp stones. The average age of the vines is 50 plus year

Really good Premier Cru Red Burgundy for under $30 per bottle is not something you find everyday. I have been drinking and enjoying this wine for the last several years and purchased it several times…..but the last 5 cases have arrived and after that no more. This wine reminds me a Morey St Denis. Aromas of mushrooms and truffles mix with ripe dark berry fruit with a hint of sauvage. Lush yet focused mouthfeel leads to a palate with good energy and finesse. Very fine tannins and that nice balance between youth and maturity end in a poised, delicious and persistent finish.
